Ann-Isabel Mattern

Ann-Isabel Mattern is an optometrist working in ophthalmic research focusing on childhood myopia. After receiving her master's degree in Vision Science and Business (Optometry) from Aalen University, she joined the Breyer Kaymak Klabe Augenchirurgie and became a member of the Internationale Innovative Ophthalmochirurgie (I.I.O.). The I.I.O. is a private research institute within the Breyer Kaymak Klabe Group in Dusseldorf, Germany, main research topics are macular and retinal diseases, as well as childhood myopia.
