Maurice Heunen

Mr. Maurice M.T.H. Heunen is clinical director of Optometric Center Old Geleen and joined the NCC Doing Research team in 2015. Primary eye care, contact lenses and evidence-based practice have his main interest. 

After obtaining his optometry degree in Utrecht he started a practice in the Netherlands close to the Belgian and German borders. He obtained his MSc in clinical optometry from City University London. He is a founder member of the European Academy of Optometry and Optics and earned fellowship in both the American Academy of Optometry and EAOO
